Grab the MacBook Pro with both hands and it exudes a sturdiness that eludes other laptops. And it’s surprisingly slim, too. The 1,440 x 900 resolution strikes that perfect balance between a roomy desktop and legibility, and image quality is beyond reproach. The downside of the glossy finish, beyond the increased reflectivity, is that amorous fingers soon leave it smudged and dirty.

The company is offering seven models in three product categories. All of them are built using the new mechanical design which uses a single ‘unibody’ ultra light aluminium chasis. This enables the company to claim the lightest, thinnest title in their class, for many of the offerings. The seven new releases include the MacBook, MacBookPro and MacBook Air categories. All the machines share Apple’s trademark design innovations: a gesture-sensitive touch pad; recessed ports; displays back lit with LEDs; light-adjusting keyboards.

The rumor mills suggest that Apple is preparing to launch brand new versions of its highly popular MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. With a widely proffered release date of as early as this coming September, a number of ardent Apple watchers believe the new hardware offerings will be revamped in several ways.
